Its deserves a 4 but just to balance out the last persons review Ill give it a 5. You can play this with no chips even though u have an option not to. Its pretty simple. The best part is you can play with a friend on long car rides. Ive already made back the cost of this game that way lol
I like the heads-up approach of this game and it has improved (IMHO) my heads up play style. I havent played all 12 personalities yet, but the ones I have played are all VERY different from eachother.
I played the free version for a long time and the paid game has more options that make it worth the investment.
The previous reviewer who mentioned the "no chips" problem with sharing the iPod to play with a friend didnt notice the TWO options. One with chips and one without. Although I admit that I too would never choose the latter.
For a challenging, fast solo poker game, this ones my favorite.
Very well-designed easy-to-use Texas Holdem game loaded with features. Numerous AI opponents with different strategies, awards come in the form of signature card covers you get from beating opponents. Very clever and nice to look at with rapid gameplay solo, with a partner using your device as a dealer, or against multiple online opponents. Great little app, Im very pleased with it.
For only $1.99 you get an ad free and highly customizable app that is GREAT for offline play.
I only have a few small complaints, like no preview of background images, but thats pretty much it.
Excellent value, attractive interface and fun controls help make this a must have for Hold Em fans. Spend some time learning the controls and the setting options and you won,t be disappointed.
Its a cool, fun app. But it doesnt play like a human at all, so just dont consider it practice.

Some bad moments
The idea of play heads up poker between you and a friend on one iphone/ipod is a great idea. However, not have chips in this game is really bad idea. The fact that you have to use your own chips outside of your iphone is stupid. The purpose of this app should be to get rid of the hassle of carrying around heavy chips, when you want to play a game. The fact is simple, “if you’re using your own chips its alot easier to use your own cards as well; then play with cards on a tiny ipod screen”. If you were able to use chips in the game, it would definitely make the game worth buy. Without chips, this game is pointless.
This game is now a great play with Version 3.0! Definitely worth the $2!
I have had to re-purchase this game 3 times and my progress has been lost each time. Disappointing
Fun, two-player Bluetooth mode that occasionally works. The Bluetooth usually fails to connect and sometimes drops randomly. If they fixed that bug, Id give it 4 stars. As it is, 2 stars.
Random crash and no card showed. Very unstable for both wifi and bluetooth 2 players game.
The only setting I can choose is starting blind. Stack size and Blind increase dont work. It is always 1500 chips and increases blind per 3 hands. Not much better than FREE version.
Fun concept but horribly inconsistent connection on wifi against opponents. Completely frustrating.
